Teaching supplements for Physiology

Some simulations for teaching physiology have been developed in the department of Physiology. They are intended as lecture and laboratory supplements for the 1st MBBS class. Click here to see them:

  1. Lecture Notes & Simulations for Nerve-Muscle Physiology
  2. Skeletal Muscle Simulation Lab
  3. Nerve Simulation Lab
  4. Student EMG Recorder

The First Annual Physiology Workshop on "Physiological Measurement Techniques" was conducted over two weekends in July-August 2002 in the department of Physiology. The text and programs for the six modules is available here. Some of the modules required special data acquisition hardware and used programs running under MS-Windows. Except for those programs all the other programs run in a Web Browser and can be viewed from this link.

  1. Preface
  2. I Physiological Signals
  3. II Signal Recording & Analysis
  4. III Digital Conversion
  5. IV Transducers & Systems
  6. V Image Acquisition
  7. VI Medical Imaging Systems
