The department of PMR has a number of Spinal Cord Injured patients, as well as Head Injured patients. A number of amputees are regularly fitted with prosthetic limbs at the Artificial Limb Centre. Integrated services in PMR include Prosthetics & Orthotics, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. A small Rehabilitation Engineering unit has been set up and is involved in making electronic and mechanical aids for the disabled.
